Babcock's Research and Development Center

Babcock Central

Babcock's Research Center is located on a picturesque Wisconsin prairie isolated from other swine facilities. It is partially bordered by Mississippi River USDA government protected land. The Research Center is the largest such facility located in the state of Wisconsin.

Being stewards of the land is important to Babcock and there is a close working relationship with the State of Wisconsin's Department of Natural Resources.

Biosecurity is a top priority at the nucleus site. The nucleus site has been closed to ALL live animal introductions for almost 30 years, and was chosen because of its isolation and inaccessibility to other livestock operations.
